Krouzeri is located on the northeast coast of Corfu Island and just 25km from Corfu Town.

Krouzeri beach is a pebbly and clean beach, awarded the Blue Flag of the European community. The beach is supplied with umbrellas and sun beds for rent. The visitors have the opportunity to enjoy their swimming or exploring the little coves around the area. It is ideal for the people who love snorkelling.

Krouzeri is a quiet village. The Nissaki Beach Hotel offers a restaurant, bar and a swimming pool, open to the public. There are a couple of tavernas as well. Boat hire and water sports are available.
What can I do in Krouzeri and what can I see?
Around Krouzeri area, there are a lot of picturesque bays with scenic coastal walks, such as Kaminaki, Agni and the beautiful horseshoe-shaped Kalami. In the other direction, you can reach Nissaki.
The water sports and boat hire are available daily. At night, small bars in Nissaki are open to offer drinks and refreshments. There are not nightclubs, as this is a peaceful region; the alternative is not far away, in Barbati and Ipsos.
Public Transport
There is regular transportation by local bus from the main road. You can either go down the northeast coast ending in Corfu Town or up the northeast coast ending in the idyllic Kalami bay, the harbour resort of Kassiopi or San Stefanos.

Where can I go with my car from Krouzeri?
There are a lot of picturesque bays around Krouzeri such as Kaminaki, Agni and the charming Kalami. In the other direction, you can reach Nissaki and Barbati. The northeast coast is full of beautiful bays and typical traditional villages around the Mountain Pantokrator and if you wish to drive even further with your car, you will be amazed by the beauty that Corfu Island offers.
Kaminaki: A beautiful small hamlet with a white pebble beach and two small tavernas. Ideal for snorkelling. Agni: A small shingle beach with three tavernas and their wooden jetties for boats. Kalami: This hideaway heaven is one of the most popular resorts on Corfu Island for its natural beauty and Greek traditional style. Kouloura: This small harbour with fishing boats is set against a backdrop of cypress and pine trees and there is only one taverna. There is an old chapel of Ag. Nicolas. The nearest beach is just a little further along at Houhoulio. Upon Kouloura’s cape, an old estate stands since the 11th century and now belongs to the Agnelli family. Kerasia: Few villas and one taverna residing in this undeveloped but popular area. A nice stop for swimming and snorkelling. The way to Kerasia is through Ag. Stefanos. Agios Stephanos: The traditional fishing village of San Stephanos (Agios Stefanos) is a quaint resort with a scattering of villas on the hills, set within the arms of a peaceful bay. The resort has a few tavernas, a couple of bars, super markets and gift shops. Nissaki: The sleepy Nissaki village has just a sprinkling of tavernas and local shops. A small road reaches the exquisite, but tiny, white shingle coves. Barbati: Barbati is one of the most popular regions on Corfu Island. It is lively place with the natural charm of the Greek landscape. There is an organized beach and you will find shops, bars and tavernas in the village. Ipsos: Surrounded by lush greenery of the hills and Pantokrator mountain, Ipsos is one of the liveliest resorts on Corfu, especially during the busy months of July and August. There is a long mixed shingle and sandy beach along the main road and opposite you will find, just a few tavernas, but plenty of bars and night clubs, fast food places, super markets, tourist shops and tourist offices. Dassia: A popular large resort with luxurious hotel units, shops, tavernas and bars. The beach is long and shingle, but in the clear waters becomes to sand. Mountain Villages Time has stood still, with the traditional old village houses, which were made from local stone and you can walk through the windy, narrow, cobbled stone streets and witness traditional Greek life. Old Sinies (above Nissaki) is an old deserted village and Perithia is another abandoned Byzantine village near to Kassiopi. The villages have a great archaeological interest with stone houses and beautiful old churches. Pantokrator monastery: The monastery is on the top of the highest mountain of Corfu, Pantokrator. Drinking water : The bottled water is recommended, as the tank water includes a high mineral content. Electricity : The voltage is 220V. You can use your appliances with a two-pin adaptor. Mobile phone : Cosmote, Vodafone and Wind are the nets, which work in Corfu. ATM (cash point) : The nearest cash point is in Ipsos, approx. 5 km away from Krouzeri. You can also find many of them in Corfu Town. Doctor : There is a local medical office in Nissaki close to the local church of the Saints. The Doctor is regularly at the office three times weekly.
