Before the renter picks up the car he has to read, accept and sign the car Agreement on the site of delivery. Below are the terms and conditions of rental found at the back of the Agreement.
Terms and Contitions of Rental
- The renter confirms that before taking delivery of the car has examined it, found it without any defects, excepts the car figures
- The renter will return the vehicle concerned will all tires, tools, accessories and equipment to the location where the car was rented or where otherwise specified on the undersigned pages of the Agreement. Extension of rental period is under the lessor’s approval.
- Only the persons referred in the Agreement will be permitted to drive the car. The car will not be operated:
- For paid transportation,
- To propel or tow any vehicle or transport,
- In any race, speed test or contest,
- By any person under the influence of intoxicants or narcotics,
- To carry passengers in excess to the respective seating capacity,
- In other than a paved road or public highway,
- By any person without lessor’s prior permission,
- By any less than 23 years of age unqualified licensed driver, or qualified driver with less than 2 years experience.
- The renter agrees to take good care of the vehicle checking the oil, water, tire pressure and all the necessary for the good maintenance of the vehicle, even when it is not in use. Damages to the tires and under the car, during the rental period, are at the hirer’s expense. Generally, in case of such a neglect the renter is fully responsible for all damages
- Repairs or replacement parts are down after authorization. Refund of expenses is made against receipts, but replaced parts have to be returned with the car. This office or its branches are not liable to the renter or the passengers, for any kind of inconvenience caused through mechanical breakdowns or accidents.
- The renter expressly acknowledges personal liability to:
- Return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as it was on delivery. For any lesser amount a charge will be computed based on current the average fuel prices. There is no kilometer charge.
- All fines and court cost of parking, traffic or other legal violations assesses against the vehicle, renter or lessor, during term of this Agreement, except where caused through fault of lessor.
- Insurance.
- Fully comprehensive cover (C.D.W.) without any self-retention for real value of each car including fire and theft insurance.
- Bodily injuries
- Material damages
- Personal accident for the driver
- Death from accident
- All permanent unmovable from accident
- Some permanent unmovable from accident
- Hospital offer
- Medical pays
- Tires, wheels and damages under the car are not covered by the insurance.
- In case of difference between the contrcted parties the Greek courts only have the jurisdiction.
